River Lakes Hockey offers a First Year Free discount program for new skaters that are 8 and younger, and must be their first time registering with USA Hockey. This program allows kids who have not played hockey before the opportunity to play hockey for the full season with no association fees. In addition, all first-year skaters will be provided with equipment from the association (subject to availability).

To join, first register with USA Hockey (here) to obtain a USA Hockey Number. When registering your child, please use their legal name as it appears on their birth certificate. To cover insurance and other benefits, a small USA Hockey registration fee is required (please see the table below for cost information).

After you have completed your USA Hockey registration, please either come to the in-person registration on Sunday, October 19th or email registrar@riverlakeshockey.com for information. You will need to reach out in order to get the discount code for your fees to be free for the season.

Koronis Arena, Paynesville on Sunday, October 19th from 2:00pm-4:00pm

Registration will be completed by you via our website on any device. We will be able to help you navigate the system, answer questions, and provide the discount code.
